The Day My WiFi Became Self-Aware (Or Why Your Router Needs a Break)
It was a day like any other. I was comfortably settled on the couch, cup of coffee in hand, ready to doomscroll through the internet for hours. But thatβs when it happened. My WiFi router β blinking its green and yellow lights like a feverish R2-D2 β seemed to make a decision: today was the day it had had enough.
I could swear those tiny blinking lights turned red with rage. My devices all froze in an instant. I pictured my router rolling its virtual eyes and saying, βOh, you want another TikTok cat video? Nah, I think Iβm good. Iβve had enough of your nonsense.β As absurd as it sounds, sometimes I think my router is secretly alive. And why wouldnβt it be? I mean, if I had to handle video streams, gaming sessions, and endless Zoom calls all at once without a break, Iβd probably stage a rebellion too.
